Dr. Thin Thiri Aung

DR AUNG is a consultant internist, specialised in wide ranges of medical illness such as stroke, hypertension, diabetes, general medicine and primary care. She migrated to Jamaica in 2012 after completing the undergraduate degree in medicine for advanced career achievements and experiences.

Her passion and interest of diagnosing the physiology of the diseases and her love for the care of patients in both mental and physical illness persuaded her to become a specialist internist. She received best resident award during her residency time at Kingston Public hospital and UHWI hospital and achieved her post graduate Doctorate degree of Medicine from University Of West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. She is also enthusiastic in research and cardiovascular diseases. She appreciates the connections with people that being a physician allows her to make.

She is an easy going, fun, patient and caring individual to each and every one of her patients.
